Christmas Gift Box

Sparkle, Shine and Bling, thats the order of todays gift box.  I know you have heard the statement  “Less is more”, well today I threw that one out the window! I got started on this little box adding all the little glitz and glam and couldnt stop!  The box lid is 7 3/16 x 7 3/16, scored at 2″ on all 4 sides.  The Paper is from the Year of Cheer DSp Pack.  When burnishing the folds, be careful on the DSP to not do it to hard, as when you fold it you could rip your paper.  On 2 opposite ends you will need to cut into the score lines to make your flaps.  The box bottom is basic black cardstock 6 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ scored at 1.5″  on all 4 sides.  Now you can burnish these folds really good as the cardstock is thicker and will hold up.   Again you will cut in on 2 opposite ends to the score line to make your flaps.  So easy to put together.  Now for the fun part, I just took gold foil, silver foil, copper foil and champagne foil and had a party die cutting things out, and I also used the Year of Cheer DSP paper pack.  I also cut out a circle of silver glitter paper and added copper thread, along with some gold leaves punched out with leaf punch.  You can use any size circles, to make your base and then just start adding snowflakes.  I love all the bling on it, my picture doesnt do it justice.  Very east to make and you could use any DSP paper.  Great for gift  cards, cash, jewelry, tags, and small cards.  Give it a try and let me know how yours came together.  Well this is it for me this week, have a great weekend.
