Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper

BRRRR its cold this morning. I hope you are getting to stay inside today and if I were you I would be getting out those stamps and supplies and making cards all day!!

My card today is using the Friendly Hello stamp set and the coordinating paper that you can earn FREE from sale-a-bration with a $100 purchase from now until Feb. 28th (or while supplies last) I’m starting off with a Granny Apple Green card base 8.5 x 5.5 and then added a piece of basic white 5 3/8 x 4 1/8. Then a piece of the Friendly Hello designer series paper 5.25 x 4. Now before I attached this piece to the basic white, look at the flowers on the paper, They are white, but if you take the stamp that has the 2 flowers connect you can ink them up and stamp right on the DSP paper, they match perfectly! For the leaves I took my I took my Basic black stampin write marker and outlined them. Just added a little contrast. I took the die from the Stitched so Sweetly set and die cut a piece of the white cardstock and stamped my bird image in the center in Black memento ink. Using my stampin blends to color, Lt and DK Granny apple green for the flowers, Dk Crumb cake, the branch, Misty Moonlight and Calypso Coral for the bird. Attached it to the DSP with stampin dimensionals. The ribbon is Granny apple that is retired, (sorry) I finished off the card by adding some of the Matted black embellishments.

A great card for any occasion, on the inside I stamped the small flower with the leaf image as well as on the envelope. I always make sure to decorate the inside and the envelopes. I feel that makes for a more finished project.

So get your supplies out and make some cards to send to someone who needs a little sunshine today!

As always, Thank you so much for stopping by.

Sheryl
