Positive Thoughts

Positive Thoughts is my stamp set for today. This stamp set is retiring and I am going to miss it. It is such a versatile stamp set. It comes with some powerful greetings to. I have used this stamp set as a get well, sympathy, birthday and now I’m going to make it an Easter card.

My card base is Petal Pink 8.5 x 5.5 with another layer of Petal Pink 5.25 x 4 and embossed with the Parisian embossing folder. I then added a layer of champagne foil paper 2 7/8 x 4 7/8. The a basic white cardstock die cut with 2nd to largest stitched with whimsy die. Attaching the white to the foil paper and then added a piece of the Petal Pink Ribbon, (without the bow) to the card front and then attaching to the embossed Petal Pink. Next used scrap paper I stamped the leaf image twice in Old olive ink, stamped the butterfly in soft suede ink and colored with my Petal Pink stamping blend, then inked the flower in petal pink ink and taking a sponge dauber just added a little mango melody ink on to the stamp before stamping on the paper. Using the dies, I die cut out all the images. Place the left hand side with the fern directly to the cardstock and then using dimensions to attach the second fern. Attached the upper flower and then using dimensionals attached the bottom flower, the butterfly is attached with dimensional that were only put on one side of his wings. I finished the card off by adding a small bow with the petal pink ribbon and attaching with glue dots. Then some champagne rhinestones. On the inside I added the Happy Easter with the butterfly.

Don’t miss out on any of those retiring stamp sets, there are a lot in there that are keepers.
