Friday Fun Fold

Friday Fun Fold

Its Friday!!! Does that ring music to your ears, that the weekend is getting ready to start.

I found this fun fold on facebook and have been wanting to try it. I am using the Decorative Borders and Framed Florets stamps sets, and the Favored Flowers Designer series paper that you can receive FREE with a $50 purchase.

To make this card you are going to need the following pieces, a mossy meadow card base 8.5 x 5.5, scored at 4.25 and then cut one end on the diagonal. From the top corner at the score line to the bottom point. That will remove a triangle on the card base. You will need 2 pieces of calypso coral cardstock, 5.25 x 4. One piece cut from the top corner to the bottom corner, to give you another triangle. Then take a piece of the Designer series paper 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 and cut from the top left corner to the bottom right corner to make a triangle. Attached the DSP triangle to the Calypso coral triangle and then to the Mossy Meadow card base. The other calypso coral 5.25 x 4 is attached to the inside of the card base. You will then need a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock 8 x 3 and scored at 4 for the inside of the card. Cut 2 pieces of calypso coral cardstock 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 and then 2 pieces of white card stock 2 5/8 x 3 5/8. Using the Decorative Borders stamp set I stamped the images in black memento ink and colored with my blends, Light and Dark Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and Pale Papaya. The greeting is from Framed Florets and stamped in black memento ink. I finished off the flowers with some wink of stella to make them glimmer. Once you attach your pieces to the mossy meadow then glue to the inside of the card base.

I finished off the card with some embellishments from the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed gems.

I stamped the image on the flap of the envelope and colored with my blends.

This has turned out to be such a beautiful card. I wasnt a real fan of the designer series paper at first but it is really growing on me.

If you have not received your catalogs and needs some, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to send some your way.

Have a great weekend and I hope you get to do some stamping.
