stampin up

Hello Stampers!!

It has been a long time since I have been able to blog. My family has kept me very busy, but things are settling down and I hope to resume on a regular schedule now. Are you getting your Christmas cards started? This card is one of the cards that the ladies made at my Christmas Stamp a Stack.

The card is made using the Handcrafted Elements Dies on page 21 of the Mini Catalog. I started off with a card base of Real Red cardstock 8.5 x 5.5 and then a layer of Garden Green 5.25 x 4, followed by a layer of basic white 5 x 3.75. I also used the pine branch stamp from the Joy of Noel stamp set on page 29 of the Mini Catalog, and inked in Garden Green ink and added several layers of the pine. The greeting is from the Christmas Classics stamp set that is also on page 29. It was embossed in gold embossing powder. The ornament is die cut from red foil and gold foil, glued together and then attached to the card. I added a bow from some gold ribbon that had retired (sorry I usually do not do that) On the inside of the card I added some more of the pine branch stamped in garden green ink. Such a fun card to make.

I hope this gives you some inspiration to get your cards going. This card could be made with any color scheme. Have fun with it.

Have a great day and as always Thank you for stopping by.

Sheryl
