Just a Note

Hi Stampers!

Todays is a great day to make cards if you are stranded inside due to the weather. I made this quick and simple card this morning before venturing out to work. February 7th is Send a friend a card day. Wouldn’t it be great to mass produce some quick and simple cards and get them out in the mail to those that can’t get out of the house on days like this. I know my mom says these are the longest days for her, when she can’t go out.

As you can see I’m using the Hello Ladybug bundle for my card, I think this took me about 6 minutes to put together. I punched out the body of the lady bug in basic black and the wings in real red. Using the stamp to put the dots on the wings in Basic Black ink. This is real easy to line up. Then putting them together with adhesive to the body of the lady bug. My card base is real red cardstock with a layer of Basic white 4.2 x 5. I added the greeting from Flowing Flowers on pg 36 in the Mini catalog. Just stamped on to the Basic White with black memento ink. Then I took the the little dots from the Lady bug set and randomly stamped them around in Real Red ink. Attached my lady bug to the White layer of cardstock and then that layer to the Real red card base and Viola! We’re done! I did use stampin dimensionals to attach the lady bug.

So quick and easy. You could use any greeting from any other stamp set too!

So get busy and make some cards for those that are unable to get out on these nasty weather days!
