Country Floral Lane

Good Morning Stampers!

A little bit of a gloomy day, but the temperature is wonderful for February in Ohio!

My card today is using the Country Floral Lane DSP on page 9 of the Mini Catalog. I am letting the paper do all the work on this card. This card came be put together with any DSP paper that you have on hand if you do not have the Country Floral Lane.

Card base is basic white 8.25 x 4.25, scored at 5.5. On the outside flap I put a piece of Balmy Blue 2 5/8 x 4 1/8 cardstock and then a piece of the DSP, 2 1/5 x 4. Attached them together and then to the white card stock. The pieces needed for the inside are Mint Macaron 5 1/4 x 4 and a piece of white 3 3/4 x 5. Attach the 2 piece together, but do not attach to the card base yet. You need a piece of basic white cardstock 5 1/4 x 3, score at 5″ Now add adhesive on the scored end and attach to the back of the mint macaron, then attach all to the card base. This makes the flap that goes over the front of the card. To that flap we are going to add a piece of mint macaron card stock 3 x 4 3/4 and then a piece of the DSP 4 3/4 x 2 3/4. Using the Something Fancy dies, I die cut a piece of Balmy Blue and a piece of basic White. The greeting is stamped in Black memento ink from Country Bouquet stamp set (which is on back order, but any stamp will do) I stamped the little flowers from that set in Petal Pink and brushed some Balmy Blue ink all around the edges using the brushes. Attached the 2 pieces together and using stampin dimensionals to attach to the card.

On the inside of the card I used the greeting from the Easter Bunny stamp set, stamped in black memento ink. To finish off the front I added some sequins from the For everything fancy sequins in the AC catalog on page 141. Just a fun card and that I hope will bring sunshine to someone’s day.

Have a great Weekend, Do something creative!!!
